Sometimes, the next step in our journey isn’t on the map we’ve been following. We only find it when we take a breath, trust the nudge, and move toward something that feels both exciting and a little bit scary.
Recently, I did just that. I reached out to Pink Moon Moms — a beautiful community devoted to helping mothers reconnect to themselves through movement, mindfulness, and collective care. I introduced myself and shared my offerings, with all the usual questions running through my mind: Will they be interested? Is this the right time? In the end, I told myself, just go for it.
When their reply came, it wasn’t just a yes. It was a wide-open, arms-extended kind of yes. A yes that carried new opportunities, beautiful synergies, and connections I couldn’t have scripted. That YES has now grown into a new chapter: I’m offering weekly wellness classes at Pink Moon Moms, creating space for women to pause, breathe, and come home to themselves.
The Power of Showing Up
I’ve learned that the Universe often responds to our willingness to be seen. It’s not about being completely ready or certain — it’s about taking the step anyway. That first move becomes a signal: I’m here, and I’m open.
What Happens When You Stretch
When we step into a new space — whether it’s a yoga studio, a new community, or a professional partnership — something shifts:
Your self-image expandsYou begin to see yourself as someone who belongs in new rooms and conversations.
Connections unfoldOne introduction can lead to collaborations, friendships, and unexpected possibilities.
Your energy changesAction creates momentum. You stop waiting and start receiving.
Three Gentle Reminders if You’re Ready for More “Yes”
Lead with curiosity, not fearLet wonder guide you instead of the “what ifs.”
Make peace with noA “no” is just another form of guidance toward the right door.
Don’t wait for perfect timingThe perfect moment is rarely on the calendar; it’s the one you choose.
Why This Matters on the Healing Path
For many of us, especially those who’ve felt unseen or excluded in the past, stepping into a new space is an act of reclamation. It’s saying: There is space for me here. And sometimes, that’s where the deepest healing begins.
Through this partnership with Pink Moon Moms, I’m reminded that the healing journey is not only personal but also communal. When we say yes to showing up, we make space for others to say yes to themselves, too.
So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to put yourself out there, let this be it. Your next yes could be waiting just on the other side of your reach.
