A Heart Wide Open: Stepping Through the 11/11 Portal, Together

Over the last few weeks, something beautiful has been happening. People have been cheering. Not the kind of cheer that’s loud for a moment and then fades, but the kind that roots into your ribcage and stays. “I believe in you.” “I’m buying tickets.” “I want to see you succeed.” Every message, every purchase, every “I’ll be there” has felt like a steady hand at my back. My heart keeps swelling with gratitude.

It’s helping me see what was always true: the vision has been clear all along.

Luna Serenity was born to create spaces where we remember how to exhale—fully, finally. Spaces where nervous systems can soften, where we can sit in deep community and know, not just hope, that the people around us want to see us shine.

This is the work.

This is the why.

On 11/11, I step into the National Building Museum with that why pulsing in my chest. To stand in that massive, historic structure as a daughter of immigrants—Ecuador and Nicaragua in my bones—feels like a living prayer. It is a visual of what’s possible when lineage, labor, and love are honored. It’s the quiet miracle of belonging announcing itself in the nation’s capital: We’re here. We are worthy of rest. We are worthy of beauty. We are worthy of rooms that can hold our breath, our stories, our sound.

There are so many threads weaving this together:

  • Gratitude. Nearly every place I teach has rallied—purchasing tickets, sharing posts, sending notes that simply say, “Go.” Your support is not just logistical; it is medicinal.

  • Community. We are not meant to do this alone. Humans thrive on connection—even when we forget. This offering is a reminder: healing multiplies when we gather.

  • Capacity & Clarity. Strength and rest aren’t opposites; strength protects rest. We train our bodies so our spirits can listen. We breathe together so clarity can land.

  • Lineage. I am carrying my ancestors with me into that hall. Their resilience is the drumbeat under every crystal bowl, the echo beneath every inhale.

When we talk about “portal,” I’m not speaking in metaphors for the sake of poetry. I mean an actual shift—energetic, somatic, communal. A doorway we choose to cross. On 11/11, we’ll ground the body, open the breath, and allow sound to move what words cannot. We’ll leave space to reflect—to integrate what’s ready to be released and what’s ready to be received. And we’ll do it together, because together is how this began.

To everyone who has said, I believe in you - I feel you. To everyone who has said, I’m coming -I can’t wait to see your face in that golden light. To everyone who has whispered, I need a reset - there is a mat waiting with your name on it.

I’m in awe. I’m in gratitude. And I’m ready - ready to step through the portal and meet what is awaiting Luna Serenity on the other side, hand-in-hand with this community that keeps choosing each other.

Join me:Portal: 11/11 at the National Building Museum — an evening of breath, sound, and reflection. If you’ve been furloughed or you work at a nonprofit, message me for a reduced link. If you feel called to sponsor a community ticket, reach out—I’d love to make that possible.

A small invocation for the night: We arrive as we are. We breathe what is true. We listen for what’s next. We cross the threshold, together.
